Biography of Nabin K. Bhattarai If Nabin Bhattarai is asked about his inspiration, He talks about " Pink Floyd". His schooling took place in Budhanilkantha School. His favorite color is Black and white. His best bands are Pink Floyd, The Doors, Deep Purple. His favourite singer is Suresh Kumar Chhetri. In his music career, Nabin K. Bhattarai has been honored with half a dozen of awards including "Chhinalata Puraskar" is already known for his ability to leave a distinct mark in his every song. He loves experimenting and has adopted a completely new and unique trend in his music. He claims to have introduced Waltz in the song "Prayatna (Orchestral Maneuvers)" for the first time in Nepalese pop music. In the song "Kushi Umanga" he has introduced organ (an instrument used in church) for the first time in Nepalese pop music. Nabin studied ethnomusicology from Kathmandu University. The academic learning did help him understand music better and maintain his standard among the crowd. Nabin indeed deserves to be admired for his skill of understanding and expressing the lyrics with profound feelings and giving it a matching music. He is a man with a courage of experimenting and trying new ways rather that the same old trends. The popularity and respect he has received and the success of his albums especially Aavash ( which is said to have sold over 60,000 copies), reveals that his experiments and understandings were always a success. Nabin has already released 4 solo albums. Talking about the latest album of Nabin K. Bhattarai " Samarpan", the album has eight songs.
