Biography of Poonam Singh Poonam Singh born on 18th September, has established herself as the first female rock artist of Nepal. She has brought 2 albums in the market: "Faithless" and " Experience". Her first album was released on January 8 2000, then after about 2 years she is back with her second album. Her first music video on Image Channel Nepal was " Manma Euta Kura Chha". With the success of that song, she is now very much into the Nepali music. Since her childhood, she started taking parts in school Programs (Little Angels) and later in High School ( Modern Indian)." Faithless is all about Rock music and including some sentiments also. The music, lyrics and arrangements all were done by Dibesh Mulmi of Cobweb. Similarly in the second album " Experience ", music and arrangements are done by Dibesh Mulmi, and other musicians like Deepak Bajracharya, Siddartha Dhakhwa from Cobweb. Poonam Singh has also given voice to one of the songs of " the seasons" band from Hetauda. The song is titled "Socha" and along with the voice of Poonam Singh, we can also hear voice of Vijay Lama and Sujil Karmacharya of the seasons band. Poonam Singh is now working for her new music video on Image Channel Nepal. We hope we can watch her soon with her new video. |
